Backstrip chipped at ends and quite faded. Haynes served as Chaplain. The Regiment appears to have spent the war in and around Washington, ZDC an Virginia. This copy bears the ownership signature of "Chas. H. Carley" who is identified as having served as a Private in the Regiment at page 231 (with an added ink notation of his death in Cincinnati in on April 23, 1885). Very Good. Item #86073
