African American Newspaper founded by William Monroe Trotter, one of the legendary African American pioneers in the field of journalism. Two lead stories: (1) tragic fire in Natchez, Mississippi in which over 200 African Americans died; and (2) Eddie "Rochester" Robinson's visit to Boston. Very Good. Item #46204
