[Kyoto]: n.d. [probably 1946]. Paperback. Thin paper portfolio containing eight printed black & white sketches of various non-military scenes in Kyoto. Size of sketches various slightly but approx. 21 x 26cm. Sketch of "Daigo-ji Pagoda" on front of portfolio wrapper. The Sixth Army was disbanded in 1946. We know nothing further about Vrooman's identity but note that a Richard Vrooman wrote a 1952 dissertation at Texas A & M entitled "Color in Architecture" and later appears to have served on the faculty at that institution. Very Good. Item #68554
