This volume contains no plates other than the folding map and is a smaller (and presumably abridged) version of Norden's account (here titled "The Travels of Frederick Lewis Norden through Egypt and Nubia"). The first edition in English of Norden's account was published in London, also in 1757, in 2 large folio-sized volumes and titled "Travels in Egypt and Nubia..." Fair. Item #84245
