[Lugduni Batavorum]: Ex officina Elzeviriana, 1634, [1633]. Hardcover. 2 vols. bound in 1. 2 engraved title-leaves, 330, [4], 377, [7]p. Old vellum which has been inexpensively rebacked in vellum which is also far from recent. 11 cm. Inked titling on backstrip. Numerous errors in pagination. Engraved title-leaves fragile with some chipping. Contents generally rather fragile with numerous small tears, some age-toning, soiling, and other wear. No blanks or rear free endpaper. Josias Simmler was the author of the second Swiss-related item which is clearly an Elzevir Press item but seems to have no publication information on the engraved title-page or elsewhere -- we dated it from OCLC entries for the Elzevir edition of this work.
