Hardcover. 96 photos inserted in photo windows two to a page on both sides of 24 album leaves. Uniform size (approx. 11 x 8cm.). Undated (probably circa 1900 or somewhat earlier). Pencil captions beneath half or less of the photos -- the captions are generally helpful although at least a couple are totally inaccurate. Photos generally show very good detail. 1/2 leather album, lacking backstrip and somewhat worn. Appears to record a trip by three middle-aged British men with tents and servants. Places mentioned or pictured include Oasis Feiran, Mt. Serbal, Wady Selaf, Nakb-el-Hawi Pass and St. Catherine's Monastery. Good. Item #85727
