1812 Property Indenture/Lease to Philadelphia Distiller, John Beutel
Handwritten Document for property on the South Side of Vine Street, from the "Ministers, Vestrymen, and Church Wardens of the German Lutheran Congregation of Philadelphia to John Beutel, Distiller. Lot was 38 x 100 feet. Rent was to be $76 yearly for a term of 15 years. Beutel was to surround the property with a good fence, and if he dug a "necessary" well, it was to be walled up with brick and conform to city regulations as to depth. Single sheet. Edges chipped, folded three times, minor loss along folds, some soil and age-toning. Fragile. Good. Item #86869
