U. S. Marine circa 1947-1951
Marine who served in Korea, discharge lists his service which include Inchon. Sokcho-ri, and also Kobe and later Puerto Rico when his overseas tour was finished. Includes PH in case & other medals including NY Humanitarian Service, Misc. papers including his original discharge, family papers, etc. One relative was active politically and there are a few letters & telegrams, and photos. A stack of letters, mostly from him to girl friends, relatives, etc. USMC letterheads, etc. Letters are fairly easy to read. Original envelopes for many letters present separately. Last are about 75 photos, a few of family, the rest service related including ones taken on convoy to Japan or Korea. Captions or information on back of some (far less than half) photos. Item #87000
