Onward. Print.

n.p. W. L. Haskell [copyright holder], c. 1903. 1 sheet. Approximately 50 x 38 cm. (19" x 15"). Recently framed under glass. Along top of this attractive black & white print are five portraits with "Black Patti" in the center flanked by Paul Laurence Dunbar and W. E. B. Du Bois on her left and H. T. Keating and Wilford H. Smith on her right. Below are much larger images of Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass on either side of a still larger image of Booker T. Washington, plus a flag waving image of Lady Liberty and seven small rectangular images (5 of Tuskegee or BTW, 1 of Douglass learning to read and 1 of cabin where Lincoln was born). OCLC lists 1 holding (Yale) which guesses that this print might have been published in Alabama. Our eye went to the iconic smaller image at the top of "Black Patti" adorned with 15-20 medals. Near Fine. Item #87505

Price: $1,500.00
