[Medical Ledger covering period between September 26, 1970 through March 16, 1971]

Chiradzulu. Hardcover. [98] ruled leaves for recording patient names, location, age, gender, native/Asiatic/prisoner, disease and treatment. 30-35 lines per page. Plain black boards backed in light blue cloth. 34 cm. Cover scuffing and wear. Almost completely filled out and quite legible. Probably an outpatient clinic for the normal range of complaints. Symptoms seem mostly to be eye complaints, diarrhea, ulcers, fever, vominting, stomach pain, headache and the like with at least one snake bite and a few other less usual complaints or symptoms. The Providence Industrial Mission was founded around 1900 and got at least some support from the National Baptist Convention in the United States although we don't know whether that was true during the period covered by the ledger. Good. Item #87510
