Old name label ("James Dean") on one issue. Double-columned monthly periodical -- mostly consisting of serialized works about famous Quakers, extracts from minutes from Yearly Meetings, short articles about various subjects, news of deaths and marriages, and, at the end of each issue, about two pages of geeneral news, quite a bit of it reporting on military and political happening in the ongoing Civil War. One issue has an article (around 3 columns) about the Samoa Islands which appears to have been reprinted from The Gleaner. Good. Item #88358
