Raleigh, N.C. Central Prison, n.d. Reward poster. Small square broadside. 20 cm.Some browning. A few later black ink marks. Oddly, the broadside has no mug shot of Butler but does reproduce his 10 fingerprints across the center third of the poster. Butler apparently escaped from the North Carolina Penitentiary. He is described as a "Negro" man, 31 years old, 5' 10 1/2 inches, 154 lbs. We don't know if Butler was recaptured. Very Good. Item #88457
