Issued to promote membership in this VFW Post whose membership was restricted to veterans of the Archangel area who had served in the North Russian Expeditionary Forces with the 339th Infantry, 337th Hospital or 310th Enginers during the Siberian Intervention. The first page makes the invitation and spells out the membership requirements. The middle two pages contain a poem (by "J. R. M.) honoring their shared experience and urging memberwhip. The final page completes the pitch and is signed in type by Thomas Battles as Post Commnder. Battle was the 7th to serve as Post Commander of Polar Bear Post No. 426 suggesting that this little brochure was issued was issued around 1926. Item #88999
