Former owner's name and a date (May 28th 1866) with brief note seeming to indicate this was when this was sent to be bound into an album are all written in ink in upper right corner of first page. Sheet music. The three leaves are also numbered in ink in upper right corner (56-58) -- probably from someone numbering the leaves in the album from which this was removed. Patriotic illustration on first page. First stanza: Speed our republic O Father on High! Lead us in pathways of Justice and right; Rulers as well as the ruled, "One and all," Girdle with virtue the armor of might! Hail three times hail to our country and flag! Very Good. Item #89466
