A banker’s box full of material about East Haven Fires and Its Fire Department

The material was saved by a now deceased and long retired Fire Marshall (and cigar smoker) in this shoreline community. Includes more than one copy of some items. In addition to pamphlets, photos, notes, investigations, etc., the former owner appears to have charted East Haven fires from the 1920s up into the 1970s (possibly with some gaps). Also includes some material on the 1971 Allegheny Airlines crash in East Haven which killed 28. The plane was attempting to land at the nearby Tweed-New Haven Airport. Item #89595

Price: $400.00
