Moon of Iraq: A Dramatic Cantata for Two Sopranos, Two Altos, Tenor, and Baritone, Soli, and Full Chorus of Mixed Voices, with Piano Accompaniment

New York: G. Schirmer, n.d. Paperback. Musical score, 84p. Softcover in original wrapper. 26cm. with accompanying typed letter from A. George Volck, a motion picture and Hollywood agent who was probably pitching this story to Lester Cowan, the addressee and an independent film producer in the 1930s and 1940s. He also sent a carbon copy of a 4-page synopsis of the story which, according to Volck's letter, was told in 293 pages. A half-hearted search turned up nothing to suggest that any play or motion picture was ever produced. OCLC lists this "dramatic cantata" as being held by one institution.
