Contemporary 1/4 leather (with very narrow leather backstrip and corners). 27cm. Joints mostly split but still holding. Cover corners rather worn with some loss of leather. Contents sound and mostly clean. Three volumes were published were published between 1797 and 1800 containing an odd assortment of materil on Asia and the Middle East, with perhaps more on Iran and the Persian language than on any other subject.
