This most uncommon jacket has: (1) a jagged oblong hole in the center of the front panel; (2) significant chipping at both ends of narrow backstrip panel; (3) an uneven strip of more than a quarter of an inch trimmed off the bottom of the rear panel; and (4) extensive thin paper tape reinforcement on the back. Top edge of text block unevenly darkened. Head of backstrip mangled and partially glued down with damage to the first line of the title ("Negro") and lesser damage to small portions of second line ("Problem).
