Identified as Sumner issue. This newspaper identified itself on its masthead as "A National newspaper. The oldest Negro newspaper in the Southwest." This copy was sent to J. A. Hodge who appears to have been the Principal at Sumner High School, a segregated public school for African Americans in Kansas City, Kansas which was the focus of this issue. Fair. Item #90754
