Front free endpaper has a gift inscription to Mr. Johnson from "Lambkins" and is also INSCRIBED by Du Bois ("To Anna and Tom Johnson with appreciation Shirley Graham Du Bois"). The Johnsons were African Americans living in Harlem where Dr. Johnson was a dentist. "Lambkins" was probably Anna Johnson. Very Good / Very Good. Item #90870
