Benefit in Behalf of the Actors' Fund of America, Thursday Afternoon, Dec. 5th, 1895 ... Souvenir Programme ...

[Chicago]: W. H. Hennessy, Printer, 1895. Broadside printed on satin. 14.3 x 30 cm. Held at McVicker's Theatre in Chicago. Joseph Jefferson appears to have been the biggest "name" performer on the program. Geo. H. Primrose performed his latest bit of stereotype humor from "The Lime Kiln Club". "Mesdames Bushell, Daniels, Burke, Kedby, Lipyeat, Moore, Buckler, French, and Bohers of the "Handel Company" kindly consented to dispose of satin souvenir programmes and boutoniers for the benefit of 'The Fund.'" We don't know if sale of souvenir programs on satin were a regular feature of these Benefit performances. Near Fine. Item #91257
