Wilmington: Du Pont Motors, n.d. [probably late 1920s]. Paperback. Oblong promotional folder. 25 x 20.5 cm. Minimal wear and a few modest spots but overall an attractive copy. A shallow inner pocket contains 9 plates, each of which is about 17 x 22cm. and displays a Du Pont car model, plus a tenth plate listing vehicle specifications for Du Pont's Model G which debuted in 1928. Text on the other inner side of the folder surrounds the image of the front end of a Du Pont car and emphasizes the elegance and high quality of the Du Pont, noting that it was the automaker's policy to limit production to no more than two cars a day. The nine models illustrated on the plates are: Rumble seat sport roadster; Convertible coupe; Five-Passenger Victoria; Five-passenger sedan; Five-passenger club sedan; Five-passenger sport phaeton; Convertible sedan; Seven-passenger touring; and Seven-passenger limousine.
