(ca 1896). Yellow patterned fabric background, possibly cotton from a flour or feed sack, large piece of red possibly upholstery cloth in the shape of a heart with a soft focus reproduction (on cloth?) of a photographic image of two young African American Women in the center. Tan (paper?) banner on left side of heart with the word "Forever." Below and to the right of the banner is a stringed tag (paper?) with the words "Memories 1896" The letters "L", "O", "V",. "E" are printed on tan circular tags (paper?) and tacked across the top to spell out "Love." Old black wooden frame (2.2 cm.) scuffed but sound. Size of fabric handwork inside the frame approximately 20 x 24 cm. Very Good. Item #91599
