"Busing for Integration" Is This a Hypocrisy of the N.A.A.C.P. and the Black Clergy...?

Kankakee, Illinois: Jones Publishing Co., 1976. Paperback. 76p. Softcvoer in original wrapper. 21 cm. Identified on cover as "A Senoj Book." Minor scuffing and wear. Jones, an African American whose photo is on the back cover, identifies himself as a graduate of the Atlanta College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, recipient of 5 bronze stars in WWII, and businessman (variously funeral homes, dry cleaning plants, skating rink, laundromat, dinner club, income tax service, deputy coroner and debit manager for insurance companies). Jones seems to argue that the real focus should be on black unity and achieving actual improvement in the lives of all African Americans rather than on integration for the sake of integration. He is very critical of African American preachers, the NAACP and what he calls the "Black Hierarchy." Oddly, we were unable to locate any copies on OCLC or elsewhere. The book does show up in copyright entries for 1977. Very Good. Item #91875
