Jacksonville, Florida: Norman Film Manufacturing Co., n.d. (ca. 1922 or 1923). Bifolium of four printed and illustrated pages. 30 cm. Two horizontal folds enabling this to fit in a business-sized envelope. Richard E. Norman, a white Floridian, is best known for the "race" films for African Americans which his company (Norman Film Manufacturing Co.) made between 1919 and 1928. This promotional item promotes five such films: (Regeneration -- on the first page; Zircon -- on the two center pages; and :The Crimson Skull," "The Green Eyed Monster," and "The Bull Dogger" -- three films already in release are crowded together on the back page. Zircon was announced as a 15 two-reel episode serial but with its production dependant on a cooperative funding scheme involving film exhibitors as investors which is described on the two pages.
