Contents sound and clean. No jacket. The section on lung cancer includes "Tobacco and Lung Cancer," by E. Cuyler Hammond and Daniel Horn (pages 871-875) which reported that the authors hoped to have accurate smoking histories on 200,000 men by May, 1952 which should be "sufficient to yield a statistically reliable answer within two or three years." The initial results of that study, with 180,000 (not 200,000) men showed clearly in 1954 the high risk of death from smoking cigarettes. Good. Item #94732
