Additionally, the front and back of album cover are split with later masking tape added around edges to keep the cover intact. Image of Abraham Lincoln and Harriet Tubman on front cover. Accompanied by a 10-page illustrated booklet (28 cm.). Folkways Album No. FC 752. "Written and narrated by Langston Hughes With the Actual voices of Ralph Bunche and Mary McLeod Bethune recorded especially for thie record. Female voices: Hilda Haynes. Male voices; Clayton Corbin Singers: Leon Bibb, Clark Morgan, Hilda Hayes and the Geoirge McClain Chorale. This album is recorded by Moses Asch. Technical editing by Mel Kaiser.
