5" x 7" glossy photograph. A bit of rust and a couple of small holes in upper left corner mark a missing staple. Small stamp on back for Heinz Fine Photography 5 Union Squ. N.Y. 12 women in the photo. We don't know if this pictures all the American women who competed in track events for the USA in 1938 but it must be close to all. Most of the women are African American. Alice Coachman, the first African American to win an Olympic gold medal, is third from the right in the back row. Near Fine. Item #95246
