No names on almost all photos. One or two are inscribed to a aunt and uncle (first names only). The tintypes have no idenficiation of photographers. One later baby picture names the child and reports her death two years later. This came to us from another dealer who sais it came from Western Massachusetts. The album has quite a few empty pages but almost all of the empty leaves seem more like they were never used than once holding a missing photo. There are a couple partial1948 newspapers, one is part of a Berkshire Eagle issue with some African American content and the other is from Afro Magazine with an article of African American life in Pittsfield.
