Hinges visibly reinforced with binder's cloth. Modern bookplate (Charles Fleischmann III) covers most of front free endpaper with significant gluemarking showing through on verso. Another former's owner's inked initials dated 1902 on back of frontis. An apparently popular fictional sea tale involving a large man known as Old Ironside. Nothing to do with the USS Constitution as far as we could tell without reading it. First published in 1837. Very Good. Item #95841
